The New Girl

 The death of the beloved Ruth Bader Ginsburg left a seat open in the Supreme Court and the Trump administration surely took the opportunity to appoint. Amy Vivian Coney Barrett is only the 5th woman to be conferred to the Supreme Court and the pressure is evident. 

At the hearings that would determine weather or not Barrett would sit in the coveted Supreme Court chair, she was asked to name the 5 freedoms protected in the 1st Amendment. Barrett struggled to do so an the media has not been kind. Many articles have called Barrett's hearings a joke, given that immigrants may of who have not been given education in the United States are mandated to study a and restate a civics test that often includes what Barrett struggled to say. 

For women, the now confirmed justice has a huge place to fill and the coverage of her has not been the best. In other regards Justice Barrett is almost the politic polar opposite of RBG. It will be very interesting to see how she shakes this state and how her decision speak for women in America.
